THE GRAND HOTELS FINANCIAL TRANSACTION POLICY

ATM’s & EFTPOS
The Grand Hotel will not locate ATM’s in close proximity to designated gambling areas or in the entry to gambling areas.

The ATM will only permit access to Debit Accounts

 

CREDIT
Patrons are advised that the lending of money or the ascertaining of money on credit for the purpose of gambling is illegal and offenders will be prosecuted.

Please do not ask staff for credit as the request will be declined.

 

CASHING OF CHEQUES
Third party and multiple cheques will not be cashed except by prior arrangement

Management discretion will be used when asked to cash wage cheques.

Wage cheques ARE NOT to be cashed for the sole purpose of gambling.

The Grand Hotel has the right to refuse the cashing of a cheque at the Managers discretion.

 

PAYMENT OF PRIZE WINNINGS
The Grand Hotel has a Maximum Cash Payment of $500 for any gambling win with the exception of KENO which when the Maximum Cash Payment amount is $1,000.

The Grand Hotel will pay the remaining amount owing over the Maximum Cash Payment amounts by cheque.

Any cheques from gambling winnings will not be cashed a The Grand Hotel until the next trading day or 24 hours after the win.

The Grand Hotel Supports the Responsible Enjoyment of Our Facilities
